Mixed into a gallery wall
I mixed the shelves with framed prints to make a gallery wall in the living room. The shelves break up the frames and give some depth, with a little plant on one and candles on the others. Friends think it's a designer piece. The walnut is warm and not too orange.

Staggered above the sofa

The narrow wall between two doors
I had a narrow strip of wall between two doors where nothing fits, not even a slim cabinet. Two shelves one above the other with a trailing plant hanging down from the top one look really nice there now, it softens the whole corridor. The other two went into the kitchen next to the window with a candle and a little jug. I was not sure a set of four would work in two rooms, but it does. Very versatile.

Nice, but too small for my plan
The finish is good but for me they are too small. I wanted to put my plant pots on them and most of my pots don't fit on 13 cm. I will use them for candles instead.

What I like is that you're not stuck with one layout. I tried a straight line first, then a diagonal, and ended with two above two, slightly offset. Charred black against my light grey wall gives a nice contrast. Holding small things only, as intended.Charred black -

A museum for tiny cars
My son is six and collects tiny cars and figurines that were all over the floor. I put the four white shelves at his height in a little staircase next to his bed and now each shelf is a 'garage' or a 'museum', his words. He actually tidies up now, which is a small miracle. The shelves are small so the wall stays light and it doesn't look like storage. Delivery was a bit long but I was not in a hurry. My cat thinks everything on a wall is for her, so I was a bit nervous. I put the four charred black shelves high above the bookcase where she cannot reach, in a staggered line, and I display my little collection of glass animals there. The colour is deep and you can still see the wood grain through it, which I didn't expect and really like. The parcel came well protected. Hanging them took me an evening because I am a perfectionist with the spacing, but the result is exactly the picture I had in my head. No more empty wall on video calls

Forgiving on uneven walls
We moved into an old apartment with uneven walls and I was afraid nothing would look straight. Small shelves turned out to be the best solution, because a small piece forgives a lot more than a long plank. I used the charred black set in the dining room: a little vase with one dried stem, two candles and a postcard from our honeymoon. The black has a texture you only see up close and it looks really good with the old parquet. The package arrived in perfect condition. Practical in the entrance
I have put them in the entrance with a small plant and a little dish for my rings. Very practical and also beautiful. Before, everything was on the shoe cabinet and it was a mess. Now when I come home I put the rings there and I find them in the morning, my husband says it was a good idea for once.
