Small bud vases for single stems

A bud vase is a small vase with a narrow opening that holds a single flower upright. It is the easiest way to bring flowers into a room: one tulip, a sprig of eucalyptus or a stem from the garden is enough. Our bud vases come in ribbed and pressed glass, stacked glass bubbles, matte ceramic and glazed ceramic shapes.

How to style bud vases

Bud vases look best in groups. Line up three to five on a windowsill, a mantelpiece or down the middle of a dining table, mixing heights and shapes but keeping one common thread, such as a material or a colour family. Choose stems one and a half to two times the height of the vase, or let a single flower rise even higher.

Fresh or dried?

Glass bud vases hold water for fresh flowers; change it every day or two, as the volume is small. Matte ceramic bud vases also suit dried stems such as bunny tails or lavender.
