Bubbles of coloured glass stacked into a playful bud vase, in seven soft shades.
Three or four glass bubbles piled into a slim column, in clear, champagne, pink, purple, green, brown or deep blue. Light shines through the colour, so it looks like a small sculpture even before you add a single stem.

01How to use it
Which flowers suit this bubble bud vase?
Bubbles of coloured glass are stacked into a playful bud vase, 6 cm wide, in two heights: 16 cm (small) or 22 cm (large). The narrow neck holds one to three stems.
For the small size, choose stems of about 25 to 30 cm; for the large size, 35 to 40 cm. Seven soft shades let you mix colours along a shelf or a windowsill.
A single tulip, rose or ranunculus
Two or three stems of dried bunny tails or lavender

Morning light through the blue
I put the large dark blue one on the chest of drawers facing our bedroom window, and every morning the sun comes through it and throws a blue shadow on the wall. I didn't expect that at all, it's my favourite moment of the day now. Most weeks there is a single anemone or a branch of something from the garden in it, but honestly it's beautiful empty too. It came well wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap, no damage. A friend who stayed over asked for the link before she left.

Nice vase, only a bit hard to clean inside because the neck is narrow. I use a small brush.

Rooting basil in it
I use the small green one on the kitchen windowsill to root basil cuttings. You can see the little roots grow through the glass, my kids check every morning. Practical and so pretty at the same time.

Lovely little vase. The purple is a touch lighter than on the photo, more lilac. Still pretty.

A garden stem in the bathroom
The small green one lives on the edge of the bathroom sink with whatever is flowering in the garden: sweet peas in summer, a bit of heather now. It's small enough to never be in the way and it makes the room feel cared for.

Pretty, but very limited
It is pretty, but the small size only takes one very thin stem and it gets top-heavy if the flower is big. Nice colour, I just expected it to be more practical.

Eucalyptus in the bathroom
Our bathroom is all white and grey and it needed something alive. I put the large green vase on the shelf next to the mirror with two long eucalyptus stems, and the whole room smells fresh after a shower. The green glass looks even greener with the leaves inside. I change the water once a week, it's easy with a bottle brush. The stacked bubble shape is very satisfying to look at, it reminds me of the old Nordic glass my grandmother collected. Ordering the champagne one next.

Remarkably elegant in clear
In clear glass the form is remarkably elegant: the stacked spheres catch the light at every level. A refined object for very little.

Only room for a stem or two
Very pretty colour, but the opening is narrow, only one or two thin stems fit. I knew it was a bud vase but I hoped for a little more space.

Nice vase. The brown is darker than I thought, almost like cola, less see-through. Still nice with dried grasses.

Looked lost on my console
Pretty object, but I imagined it bigger for the console in my hallway. There it looked a bit lost next to the mirror. I moved it to the bathroom where it fits better, so it's fine, just not what I planned.

Our wedding tables
We used these on the guest tables at our wedding in the countryside, a few champagne vases on each table with one stem of gypsophila or olive. Under the string lights the glass looked golden and the bubble shape was much more interesting than plain bud vases. Many guests asked if they could take one home. Now they are spread around our flat and around our families' houses as souvenirs. The packaging was careful, none of them arrived broken, which was my big worry before the day.

One stem every Saturday
For our anniversary I gave my partner three of these vases in different colours, with the promise of one flower from the market every Saturday. It sounded a bit cheesy when I said it, but six months later I'm still doing it and the vases are always on the dining table, never in a cupboard. One tulip, one ranunculus, sometimes just a twig with leaves. The glass is thin but feels solid enough, and the colours change a lot depending on the light, in the morning they look almost pastel. Best gift idea I have had in years, according to her.

Started a small collection
I have been collecting coloured glass from flea markets for years, and when I saw this vase I thought it would look too new next to my old pieces. It doesn't. The large clear one sits in the middle of my glass shelf in the living room, between an old green bottle and a blue apothecary jar, and the light passes through all of them in the afternoon. The bubbles are smooth and regular, the glass is clear with no yellow tint. I bought it alone first, now I'm thinking about adding the brown one to warm up the shelf for autumn.

Keep it away from the cat
Beautiful brown glass. The base is narrow so my cat already pushed it once, luckily nothing broke. Now it's on a higher shelf.
