01How to use itHow to hang this rustic wall shelf
This rustic wooden shelf measures 40 × 15 cm and 1.5 cm thick, on sturdy black brackets, in walnut or natural wood. Fix the brackets to the wall with plugs suited to your wall type, check them with a spirit level, then screw the shelf on.
Screwed into solid brick or timber studs, it can hold books and plants; on plasterboard, use cavity fixings and keep to lighter objects.

What size is it?

Where do you deliver?
We deliver to all 27 countries of the European Union, at the same rates everywhere. Every order is prepared within 1 to 3 business days and sent with tracking, so you can follow your parcel right up to your door.
How much is delivery?
Standard delivery costs €4.90 per order, whatever the number of pieces, and it is free on orders of €70 or more. If your items leave in separate parcels, you still pay for shipping only once.
How long does delivery take?
Allow 10 to 18 days for France and 11 to 21 days for the rest of the EU, including 1 to 3 business days of preparation. If your parcel has not arrived 25 days after shipping, contact us and we will look into it.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, you receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow your parcel. If you order several pieces, they may arrive in separate parcels on different days, each with its own tracking.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return an item without giving a reason, as long as it is unused, complete and in its original packaging. Once we have received and checked it, we refund the item and the initial standard shipping cost within 14 days.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. Payment goes through a secure, encrypted checkout, and the refund of a return is always made to the payment method you used for the order.

Colour not what I expected
The quality is good and the brackets are strong, but the natural wood is more yellow than I expected next to our grey walls. Not bad, just not the look I had in mind.

Our cottage-style living room
We are slowly turning our living room into something more cottage style, with old frames and a lot of plants. I ordered two of these in walnut for the wall behind the reading chair. The 40 cm length is good, not too big and not too small, and the 15 cm depth takes my bigger books standing up without problem. The black brackets look a bit industrial which I like with the wood. We used the plugs for our brick wall and they are absolutely solid. It took some time to arrive but the boards came well protected. My wife wants a third one now for the hallway.Walnut -

Moved with me twice
I bought this shelf for my first flat and I have now taken it with me through two moves. Each time I just unscrewed the brackets, filled the holes and put it up again in the new place. Today it is in my kitchen in Manchester with my tea tins and a small trailing plant, and it still looks as good as on the first day, the weathered finish actually hides the little knocks from the moving boxes. A cosy little bathroom
Our bathroom is all white and grey and it felt like a hospital. I hung this shelf in walnut above the bath with a candle, a eucalyptus branch in a small vase and two rolled towels. It completely changed the room, it feels warm and cosy now, especially in the evening. The brackets are strong and the shelf is very stable.
