Botanical Wooden Wall Clock

It is 25 cm (10 in) in diameter. This medium size suits a kitchen wall, a reading corner, a bedroom or the space above a small sideboard. On a larger wall, pair it with a couple of small botanical prints or a hanging plant to create a natural, balanced arrangement around it.

It is made of wood, with a botanical plant motif on the face. The natural material and leafy design pair well with greenery, linen, rattan and other natural textures, so it fits easily into a Scandinavian, boho or country-style room. Natural wood can vary slightly in tone from one clock to another.

It runs on a quartz movement powered by a battery, which is not included. Replace the battery about once a year, or as soon as the clock starts to lose time, to keep it accurate. Remove the battery if you store the clock away for several months to protect the movement.

In a living room, a kitchen or a bedroom with natural materials and plants. It looks especially good on a white, sage or beige wall. Avoid hanging it right above a hob, a kettle or a radiator, as steam and direct heat can warp or discolour the wood over time.

It hangs from a single screw or picture hook through the slot at the back. Use a fixing suited to your wall: a plug and screw in plaster or brick, or a suitable hook for plasterboard. Hang it at eye level, around 150 to 165 cm from the floor, so the plant motif can be seen.

Dust the face and frame regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster. Avoid sprays, cleaning products and water on the wood, which can stain it or raise the grain. If needed, take the clock down to clean it gently, so you do not push the hands or put pressure on the movement.
