Questions

What size is it?

It is about 24 cm across and 13 cm high. It lifts medium and large pots a few centimetres off the floor, improving airflow underneath and keeping moisture away from your floor. Check that the base of your pot fits comfortably on the 24 cm top.

Which versions are available?

Two European-style designs: a white stand with a wire top, and a black stand with a scroll top. White feels light and suits a bright, Scandinavian or country interior; black gives a more graphic, classic outline under green foliage.

Can it go outdoors?

Yes, the metal does not rust, so it works on a patio, a deck, a balcony or in the garden as well as indoors. Brush off dirt and dead leaves regularly outside. Lifting pots off the ground also helps drainage and protects decking from water marks.

Which pots suit it?

Medium and large pots whose base fits on the 24 cm top, such as a monstera, a palm or a large fern. Group two or three stands with pots of different sizes for a layered display of plants in a corner or by a window.

How do I care for it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it. Indoors, place a saucer under the pot to protect the floor from drips, as the openwork top lets water through. Check from time to time that the stand sits level, especially on uneven outdoor surfaces.

    My monstera stands taller

My big monstera looks way better lifted off the floor and the parquet stays dry. Love it.

    Rented flat, floor saved

We rent and the landlord is very particular about the wooden floors. My big rubber plant used to sit in a saucer that always left a mark, which I was stressing about before moving out. Since it's on this stand there is air under the pot, the saucer sits on the metal and the floor stays completely dry. It also looks much nicer, the plant stands a bit taller and the round pattern looks good in our grey living room. Very happy, and much cheaper than replacing a floorboard.

Three of them in the corner

Three in the living room corner with ferns and a snake plant, at different heights using a pile of old books under one. Looks like a little jungle now, and my cleaning is easier because I can see under the pots and the floor stays dry.

The openwork pattern is very nice, more decorative than I expected.
