Indoor plant pots

Indoor plants depend entirely on their pot: too much water and the roots rot, too little space and the plant stops growing. Our indoor plant pots are small ceramic pots with drainage holes, in bright blue glazes, a soft matte finish and handmade glazes in 15 styles, sized for succulents, cacti, herbs and mini orchids.

Why drainage matters indoors

A drainage hole lets excess water escape so the roots never sit in water, the most common cause of houseplant problems. Indoors, place the pot on a saucer and empty it after watering. Water only when the top of the compost feels dry, especially for succulents and cacti.

Where to place small pots

Group small pots on a sunny windowsill, a kitchen shelf or a desk. Line up herbs near the kitchen, or mix three colours of glaze for a cheerful row. Wipe the ceramic with a damp cloth to keep the glaze bright.
