European Metal Candle Stand

It is made of sturdy metal with a round base about 7 cm across. The simple Nordic design and solid construction keep the candle upright and steady, even on a busy dining table. Its clean shape suits modern and Scandinavian interiors, and it is easy to combine with glass, ceramic or wooden candle holders.

You can choose black, silver, copper or gold. Black and silver suit modern, Scandinavian interiors, while copper and gold bring warmth to a festive table or a wooden sideboard. Mixing two finishes, such as gold and black, gives a relaxed, collected look on a long dining table.

The candle cup is about 2.2 cm wide, the standard size for taper candles. The candle is not included, so you can pick the colour and height that suit your table. Use dripless candles if possible, and keep a little distance between several stands so the flames do not heat each other.

On a dining table for a candlelit dinner, on a console in the hallway or on a bedside table. Two or three stands in different finishes make an easy, modern centrepiece. Add a few sprigs of greenery or a small vase between them for a festive table at Christmas or for a dinner party.

Remove wax drips once they have cooled: a few minutes in the freezer makes the wax harden so it lifts off easily. Then wipe the metal with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges, which can scratch the finish, and always use the stand on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
