This Nordic-style candle stand has a 2.2 cm candle cup, the standard size for taper (dinner) candles, on a stable round base 7 cm across. The slim metal stem lifts the flame for an elegant look on a table or a console.

Four colours on one shelf
I could not choose so I took one of each colour, black, silver, copper and gold, and lined them on the shelf in the living room with ivory candles. It looks like a small collection and the different metals catch the light differently in the evening. Each one is steady and well made, no scratches.

A pair on the console
I have a narrow console in the entrance and I wanted something symmetrical without being heavy. I took two silver stands and placed them at each end with a mirror between them. The shape is very clean, no decoration, so it works with my old mirror frame as well as with the modern lamp. The metal feels sturdy and the base doesn't slide on the wood. When the candles are lit in the evening the reflection in the mirror doubles the light, it's really beautiful. Packaging was simple but nothing was scratched.Silver -

Our Advent table
Every December we light candles on the coffee table and I always used old saucers, which was a bit sad. This year I bought four of these in gold and it changed the whole ritual. The kids each have 'their' candle to light on Sunday. The holders keep the candles straight even when the children are a bit clumsy, and wax that drips is easy to remove from the metal.
